Bowen Children’s Clinic for Children Aged 0 – 13
Bowen Technique is a gentle, light touch, remedial therapy that has been used successfully since the 1950s to help relieve the symptoms of a variety of childhood disorders and health problems.
The Bowen Children’s Clinic is a donation-only clinic run by Sue Jaycock, an experienced Bowen Therapist. A session lasts around 20 to 30 minutes and most children find the sessions enjoyable and relaxing. Treatments are carried out through light clothing and the parent or guardian stays in the room.
Parents and carers have reported improvement in symptoms of many childhood ailments including asthma, anxiety issues, learning difficulties, ADHD and autism. They have noticed better posture, balance, co-ordination, and the ability to cope better with the effects of anxiety and trauma. Benefits include improved sleeping patterns, concentration, motor control & behaviour.
As a parent myself, I understand how important a child’s happiness and wellbeing is. To learn more about how Bowen has helped children, read the Bowen Therapy Professional Association (BTPA) Bowen Childrens Clinics and visit the Bowen Children’s Clinic Network on Facebook.
